I do agree that something will pass that will facilitate permanancy here for those already here. I don't consider it a Carter style amnesty as he did for the draft dodgers though, as I suspect they will be required to do quite a few things similiar to the Kennedy Bill before getting a shot at citizenship. What is definite is that no one is going to find and deport 11+ million illegals...ever.
No, but if you make it impossible for them to find jobs, they will deport themselves. That is the beauty of the house bill; no need for mass roundups and deportations.
