If the Republican Party now turns its back on these newly swing Latino voters, it may permanently lose its ability to win America's fastest-growing voter group, perhaps dooming the party altogether . . . to prevent disaster among Latino voters, it must accompany the fence with a more liberal policy on guest workers and criminalization.

Is this clown serious?

we will be slitting our own throats by denying our economy access to Mexican workers. We just need to make them legal, not illegal.

This reads like PR. Let me guess. He's working for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce -- or he's working with an old Clinton White House buddy?

In 2003 Thomas "Mack" McLarty became a Senior Advisor to Carlyle and Advisor on Mexico Investment Activities.

(Before that I believe he did PR for Mexico through his connections with Kissinger's company.)

Or maybe a Morris Republican buddy? Mr Rudy Giuliani's security consulting company was hired by Mexican business leaders to come up with a plan to clean up Mexico City, which has the second-highest crime rate in Latin America. . . .

Or is just the old globalists chant, "cheap labor trumps sovereignty any day of the week!"

Regardless..

Is Morris another one of those who believes that Americans of Hispanic origin are addicted to law breaking? You cannot get their vote if you don't support breaking laws?

Why did about 30 percent of Americans of Hispanic origin vote for California's Prop 187 and almost 50 percent of Americans of Hispanic origin vote for Arizona's Prop 200?

I agree. Most latinos (along with other groups) are against illegal immigration.

You're talking about Dick Morris?

He worked for Vicente Fox. Maybe he still does.

From the crap he's spewing, he might as well still be on Fox's payroll, because if he's not getting paid for that, he's the cheapest date in the hemisphere.

"America's fastest-growing voter group" -- gee, what a creative euphemism for "illegal aliens who cast illegal votes thanks to the 'motor-voter' abomination."

We just need to make them legal, not illegal.

Oh, right, that's the ticket!

Next, we can use that same principle to deal with the rest of society's ills. We can eliminate the rate of crimes like "murder" and "rape" and "burglary" and "car theft" overnight! "We just need to make them legal, not illegal."

The mind boggles...

Dick, that mouth of yours comes up with some real humdingers when you let it run. I think I liked it better when you kept it stuffed with whore-toes, instead of flapping into the airwaves.

He's playing the "sport-politics" game. The only thing that matters is WINNING. If "Team Republican" goes pimpin' for votes the same way "Team Democrat" does, then it can win, using the same voters that would have gone to "Team Democrat".

What's that you say? By doing that, we become identical to "Team Democrat"? Hey, don't bug me with that crap. What matters is WINNING -- and loyalty to the TEAM!

Isn't that what it's all about, anyway? I mean, when you WIN an election, don't you have to take some kind of oath, where you swear allegance to The Party for Which you Stand?

Dick understands "team" politics, having switched from "Team Democrat" to "Team Republican" to "Team Mexico". A player has to go where the game is.

What we need are statesmen. Unfortunately, "Major Leage Politics" has written them out of the game.

Because they are Americans.

The "fastest-growing voter group" he mentions is not "Americans of Hispanic origin".

He's talking about illegal aliens.

And he's not the only one.

Every money-grubbin' POS in the land is trying to stake their claim. Have you seen the TV commercials where actors clearly playing the role of illegals are promised the opportunity of fitting in like "real" people, by signing up for credit, or home loans, or this, that, or the other thing?

There's an old joke about when you owe the bank ten thousand dollars, the bank owns you, but when you owe the bank ten million dollars, you own the bank.

When you get 12-25 MILLION illegals "in-country" -- with millions more pouring over the border -- and, the icing on the cake, THEY VOTE -- then you have the Mother of All "constituencies".

Suddenly, they "own the bank" -- THEY "call the shots".

"Hi, my name is Gomez, and I riot in the streets!"

We mocked the Spanish for caving to the terrorists after the railroad bombing.

Yet, we caved to the illegals after ONE day of them "taking it to the streets."

Spain can take pride at having absorbed a MAJOR hit before caving to their new masters.

We, on the other hand -- the "home of the brave" -- folded like a cheap suit after ONE day of street-clogging.

Basically, they said "Boo!", and we responded by giving them the legislation they demanded.

"Home of the brave" my ass. At least not in "The Hallowed Halls", it ain't!
