I'm sorry - I was not clear. I was not referring to this article, just making a comment after hearing the FoxNews report where the "figure of knowledge" mentioned that he was a member of a very restrictive "sect". The newscaster called him a charismatic preacher. (Don't know if this meant a charismatic person or that he was a proponent of the charismatic movement).

One of the church members was describing Matthew Winkler personally, and said that he had so much charisma.

Did you ever play the game "Gossip" as a kid, where everyone sits in a big circle and someone begins the game by whispering to the person next to them a sentence that has been written on a piece of paper? That person whispers to the person next to them, and so on around the circle until it comes to the last person who says out loud what they were told. The person who started the game then reads the sentence written on the piece of paper to see how much the information changed in the process.

That's the way the MSM gathers information - they just don't check it with the original piece of paper that contains the actual facts. Same game, but they call it "Journalism" instead of "Gossip". ;-)
