Is FNC inferring that stepping down is Card's idea, or was he asked to do so?

I'm with you. I can't bear to watch him. I would love to know who thought this pathetic guy was up to the task. Just pitiful.

I'd like to see Scott McClellan replaced as well.

Yeah...with Karen Hughes! That would be great.

I'm sure the media would love to say that .. but reality is .. Bush's people in his Adminitration were around alot longer then Clinton's people

While changes are being made, I'd like to see Scott McClellan replaced as well.

Me too. No offense to McClellan--it's a horrible job and he's done the best he can. But they could use somebody that doesn't look like a deer in headlights.

I agree - that would have been great. General Honore would be good, too - he would let the WH press corps know they were stuck on stupid.

I read Ari Fletcher's book, which was much more interesting than I thought it would be, especially after the first few chapters.

Fletcher seemed to think a lot of Scott, who was a subordinate to Ari.

Clinton couldn't aford to lose Janet and Janet couldn't afford to lose Clinton

They covered for each other .. kind of like Bill and Hill's marriage

Morning...the coffee is trying to wake me up...not really the headline I wanted to wake up to, though.

I wholeheartedly agree, was just curious how this was being reported/spun.

I, too, appreciate your service, Mr. Card.
