Unless I'm very much mistaken the Republicans do not have control of the house and senate. I believe they need 60 votes for that which they don't have. Reminds me of how President Bush tries to redefine the term amnesty so that he can pretend that the amnesty legislation he supports isn't really amnesty.
Republicans control the committees, the agenda, the floor, and the majority. No, they don't have a super majority, but they do control the House and the Senate along with the White House.
Are you really trying to put forth the premise that Republicans share no blame for passing and signing the unconstitutional McCain-Feingold censorship bill into law?

No I'm not, there's more than enough blame to go around and put on everyone's shoulders, but mccain is the one who should bear the majority of the weight. He's the main perpetrator here.
The traitor doesn't care if it means we as citizens have to forego any of our 1st Amendment rights, and in his demented mind he doesn't care if it's illegal, just as long as he gets what he wants.....the keys to the front door of the WH.
