Costa Mesa merchants in immigration debate Some businesses plan to protest the city's stand on proposed changes in enforcement.
COSTA MESA Every Thursday for the past few weeks, a group of hairdressers, auto mechanics and restaurant owners has quietly gathered to talk about lost dollars and customers. They say a move by Costa Mesa lawmakers to become the first city in the nation to allow local police to enforce federal immigration laws is to blame.
The group, which has swelled to 50 members, plans to take its meetings public this morning, to City Hall.

No I don't think they should be prosecuted for those things but they should be prosecuted for ignoring the law and aiding an invasion.
HR 4437 could allow for prosecution of those things - and, once it is the law, you realize you would then have to change your opinion to thinking they should be prosecuted for ignoring that too, right?
P.S. what is the statutory citation for "Aiding an Invasion"? Are you proposing prosecution under "Treason"? LOL
You seem to be able to convince yourself of whatever you need. No point in arguing with the tiny squeaking minority. Go ahead and talk to yourself But hey, at least Hillary agrees with you.
And Hillary agreed with you about the UAE ports deal, so there. Last I checked, 30% of Costa Mesa's population and 50 business owners is not a "tiny" minority ; )
