Sorry, this probably should have borne a CONTINUOUS PROJECTILE VOMITTING alert.

Note the hostages were "released". Implying that the captors "released" them voluntary. What a vile insult to the Iraqi and Coalition MILITARY forces that FREED them.

Heck, even the words "hostage" and "captor," or any like them, are carefully avoided in this pusilanimous and vomitous press release. Not a single word is allowed in that might reflect poorly on the insurgents who TORTURED and MURDERED one of their own. (In this release the body is merely "found" with no further comment.)

UN-FREAKIN'-BELIEVABLE, even from a bunch of "peace" pu$$ys.

It's been discussed elsewhere, but it's probably good to have this news release as it's own thread.

It is repulsive, and I've written them to tell them so.

Perhaps we should send them back, since they're obviously much happier with their captors...

These people are neither "Christian" nor "peacemakers," they simply hate America and will not even grudgingly admit that anything they can do is good or that anything anyone else does is bad. They can be against the war and still say that they are grateful for a rescue without loss of life. What jerks!

They have to keep with their delusional fantasy that the Iraqi Insurgents would see how they were on THEIR side and praise them, sing worship to them and release them and call them friend. This messes with their screwed up mental illness and they can't accept they were RESCUED!! By the EVIL OCCUPIERS NO LESS!!!

How about this thought ~ these "peace activists" could be phonies ~ in league with the Islamofascists or some local criminals in Iraq.

Maybe they were trying to scarf up a large payment from someone to gain their release. They'd then share in the money with none the wiser.

Then they discovered that the new guy really was a Christian, into it for the idealism and not the loot, so they killed him.

What they are doing is simply a continuation of rollplaying, the purpose of which is to distract official attention from whatever else they might have been up to, including that killing.

These people bear close watching.

According to media reports, the insurgents/terrorists/criminals/kidnappers weren't even present when troops rescued...er, released the CPT members.

What kind of kidnappers don't guard their hostages? More to the point, what kind of hostages don't try to escape when their kidnappers don't bother to guard them?

This stinks on ice. Frankly, it reminds me of the whole Susanne Osthoff episode. (She's the German who was supposedly kidnapped by insurgents. She was found to have thousands of dollars of the ransom with her after she was "released".)

Despite the murder of Tom Fox, how sure are we that this wasn't some stupid publicity stunt by the CPT?

I thank God that none of our men and women in uniform were hurt or killed in freeing these ungrateful fools.

"We pray that Christians throughout the world will, in the same spirit, call for justice and for respect for the human rights of the thousands of Iraqis who are being detained illegally by the U.S. and British forces occupying Iraq."

Ask them if they would be willing to dig up and identify the thousands of corpses. Christians gone Wild.

F###ing ungrateful losers!

It was YOUR presence in Iraq that led to this kidnapping!

I'm gonna e-mail these buttholes and give them a piece of my mind!

From BBCNews:

The RESCUE was completed without any shots being fired and with no kidnappers present, suggesting the operation was carefully planned and carried out.

These remarkably stupid, ungrateful and self-righteous losers are in Iraq to further their own agendas. I don't believe they are motivated by Christian beliefs and humanitarian out-reach, they are simply a grubby band of losers and America-haters using the media to discredit and lie about our brave troops. If they are so concerned about their fellow man then trot down to Afghanistan and help out the poor man who will be torn limb from limb for converting to Christianity. Islam is a murderous and hate-filled cult and no amount of making nice with those terrorists will save or spare one life.

Spoken like the true socialistic terrorist appeasers that they are.

I am sickened by this public display of supreme ignorance and stupidity.

These people are an abomination. They aren't over there to spread the gospel, they're over there to stick it to the US. I understand why Christians might want to go in there if they were really going to preach the truth, but these were just marxists using twisted Scripture to support their socialist agenda.
