It is similar to one of the Russian models, the MiG 1.44

Yeah. Much closer!

Definite family resemblance.

It's not just American firms and sold out politicians. Europe lifted their arms sales ban to china, and their firms and bought and paid for politicians can't wait to arm up the chicoms, either.

close in zoom with photoshop displays what are possibly a few graphical anomalies. One of the open panels on the undercarriage has a telltale editing sign (the one right below the air intake), at 1600% magnification you can see the panel pixels are too straight and and there is a "shear" effect which usually means someone has copied and pasted over something. Also there is what I suspect a slight perspective problem with the air intake. The picture is taken at an angle slanted upwards but the intake looks as if it is being viewed as if straight head on. It's slight but it just feels off and somewhat akward.

Of course its a god damn fantastic photoshop job nonetheless. The proof is as they in the pudding if one has seen the same plane, though in CGI format.

this picture in particular should be familiar, its similar to the one in the magazine above but albeit of CGI and not as good as a photoshop job

Then again I could be wrong and the photograph is genuine while the other CGI's are based on this original, but it just doesn't pass the smell test.

Yup, it's definitely familiar ... as is the upper one - but for different reasons. It looks like a complete amalgam of several different stealth aircraft designs.

The wings are lifted straight off the YF-22. The upper fuselage from the cockpit back is from the YF-23(with the exception of the exhausts terminating in afterburners, as opposed to the -23's troughs), as are the tailplanes (although these are set outwards a bit from the -23).

The forward fuselage looks like a cross between a "squished" YF-22 and the Sukhoi Platypus (esp the nose).

The intake (sugar scoop) looks similar to both the X/F-35 inlet test rig that was flown on an F-16, and the X-32 inlet.

As far as the photoshopping job goes, I was struck by the fact that in the photoshopped picture, you can actually see the reflection of the aircraft, along with the ladders/test stands, in the hangar floor ...

No they'll probably go down the line of navalised Flankers with Frogfoots as their trainers.

the first American Rocket looks similar with the German V2, the Tomahawk looks similar with the V1, the most US fighters use Deltawing, similar to DR.Lippisch development, the Radar system of the F22 is similar to the Radar, thats development for the Eurofighter ( canceld, because to expensive, but finish ) and the Russian use this Technology sine 1987 aktive in the MIG31( Phased array Radar )
Jet Engine, from Germany
Lampyridae looks F117, but was earlyer in Germany !!!
http://images.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http://home.xmsnet.nl/hdejong/curious/Lampyridae%2520aero%2520testbed%2520front.jpg&imgrefurl=http://home.xmsnet.nl/hdejong/curious/Lampyridae.htm&h=541&w=787&sz=34&hl=de&start=20&um=1&tbnid=LwPBUUZFLR-ECM:&tbnh=98&tbnw=143&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dlampyridae%26svnum%3D10%26um%3D1%26hl%3Dde%26newwindow%3D1%26sa%3DN
In the end, of course all the engineers need to follow the physik rules of aerodynamik.
Without the second world war, and without the lucky position of the Island of America, and all of the technology stohlen after that, they would be India or China today.
Everyone should think about this.

Practically every modern plane that we see flying today, was created on German drawing boards during WWII.

Cut and paste this link http://www.luft46.com/

Even Rutan's ideas for the SPACESHIP ONE and the craft that carried it aloft were copies.

And, gee, doesn´t this look familiar
