Chinese and Hispanic groups do not suffer the same maladies yet they are impacted by competition with illegal immigrants.

This is changing, and quickly. Asian gangs are turning into a nationwide phenomenon. The values of hard work and determination are falling on a young generation of deaf ears.

I suspect that bad behavior, especially in protected groups, will not be eliminated if the apologists continue to condone it with the usual rationalizations. If no culture is better than another, then surely pants around the ankles, illiteracy, violence and anarchy have the same "value" as clear thinking, cleanliness, hard work and religiosity. In fact, the former traits are actually better, as they are "authentic." You see the plight that the young face.

Bill Cosby and others who have spoken out about this need to keep speaking out about it.

Cosby was preaching the party line until just recently, then he suddenly saw the light. When he did black leaders pack hunted him and instigated a scandal to keep him busy. Better late than never, but he is no hero IMHO.

Give me a break about bad schools. If a teacher could teach in crime ridden schools, you would get teachers to take the positions there. Those employed are called teachers but are really baby sitters for the delinquent.

IMHO the problem is with the mothers who are raising these children. Forget the fathers, they are largely absent. Someone perpetuates the hate, the victimhood, etc. and it is the mothers/head of households.

Well, with social promotion (which FL has now eliminated for 3rd grade) you're more likely to have babysitting instead of teaching, because you have students assigned to a 4th or 5th grade classroom for no reason other than that was the next room they were going to be assigned to -- not because they have mastered any skills or knowledge required at a lower grade.

"Not really, why ask young folks of African decent to live like illegals, 10 to a room?"

Sorry but what on earth has this got to do with the Black demographic apparently working themselves into poverty while other ethnic groups do the opposite?

"No cop out or excuse. It's simply the way it is. Prior to the 60s, the black family was quite strong and functional. With the advent of welfare, liberal control of govt, the Great New Society and race hustlers like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, et al, the black family bit the dust. Screwed up family life equals screwed up people."

Sorry I just don't agree, the advent of Rap culture and a fascination with gang violence and crime are to blame. More specifically the black parents and families themselves. When the black youth are more concerned about acquiring the latest basketball sneakers and "bling" accessories, while their ethnic equivalents in the Hispanic and Asian communities are spending their money on school books is it any wonder their society is seeing this appalling decline?

"Not so...lack of border security is very much linked to entry level jobs in the blue collar sector. To think otherwise is simply foolish."

Your missing an enormously obvious point here, this is impacting the black community NOT the ,Chinese, Japanese, Irish, Hispanic etc

need I go on?

The Reverend Jesse Jackson has never held a job in his life, yet he is a multi-millionaire. He is a race hustler, and will only continue to hold his power and wealth as long as he keeps blacks "down on the plantation". Same with Sharpton, Kweiesi(sp) Mufune, and the rest of the bastards that are destroying their own people.

You are correct about the "gangsta" culture, crime etc. It doesn't happen where there is a responsible father figure. Over 90% of black gang members are from single mom families. This does not excuse an individual from their actions. Do the crime-do the time, but it does point out some of the root causes. It's quite simple. If there is no strong positive masculine influence then chaos is the result.

The mere fact that we have 10 to 20 million people here, most of whom are taking jobs at the lower end of the spectrum, give certain groups whining rights.
And frankly, they have a point. But black leadership, if one can call it that, is locked into the Democrat Plantation mode. These young'n are basically screwed by both sides.

Only the ones this is effecting, the other groups seem content i.e still performing well in wealth generation surveys and higher education statistics.

"But black leadership, if one can call it that, is locked into the Democrat Plantation mode. "

Agreed it's either a Dummocrat leading them or a bleeding heart Hollywood actor for a role model, as you say screwed either way
