But I will added that its not because of this issue. Its just because I think they have been in there too long. These jobs should not be career jobs that collect huge pensions and pay increases.

Eh, are you aware of the fact that the bill would have prevented dipping into social security funds for purposes other than social security?

As in Specter and Santorum both voted for keeping social security stockpiles solely for social security. Seems to me that they voted on the right side of this issue (that is, if we can't have reform).

Suit yourself but a YEA vote was the correct one on this issue.

You know I am stunned by Santorum. All the FREEPERS keep telling me that he is the best. Don't worry about these stupid things he has been doing and now once again he is voting something that I don't agree with. How much longer do I have to support him. I just can't believe him!!!!!!!

They don't belong to SS so they could care less. Our elected officals live by a complete different set of rule than you and I. They have the best medical care that the tax payers can afford to supply to them while the elderly must chose between eating and their med's. Most of them are worth millions, will leave their office with more money than they get while in office and have health benifits for the rest of theeir lives.

"Yea" is the proper vote on this question.

Unless you're a liberal...
