Well since 70% of America was against this deal that means if it came to a real fight we would win hands down. the reason for the huge backlash form the business elite is that they are afraid. the American public is waking up and telling these sellouts that we have had about enough of this crap. Europe is saying the same thing. France, Norway, Germany have been saying it for awhile hence the total roadblock to the new WOT trade round table. Even Brazil and India see the raw deal that globalization is. The American economy was able to grow and prosper for 500 years without selling itself to the highest bidder. We had trade surpluses. Companies were able to increase their profits by buying into the American concept of paying their workers good wages who in turn bought their products. Now the American business elite in the name of greed slash the decent jobs and wonder why they can not sell their product (GM and Ford are good examples) I for one do not want to live like a peasant from Mexico, or China. I enjoy my standard of living. I have seen that standard of living be steadily decreased over the years. Enough is enough. We can not even pacify a little piss ant country because the elite will not fight a war, instead they talk about tolerance and compassion. That is great for the peace but you must win the war first. Numbskulls the whole bunch of the people in Washington. They have their head so far up their ass that they can't see the forest for the trees.
