JILL CARROLL: why are moderate muslims still silent?
By J. Grant Swank Jr.
Why do not we hear from "moderate Muslims" concerning the horrific fears Muslim headhunters leveled against this young woman? Why are not Muslims web sites castigating blood thirsty Muslims who hold the innocent hostage?
Why do Muslims clog streets globally over a cartoon but say nothing about the inhumane treatment of still another mortal taken captive by their own insane Islamic zealots?
The answer is because there are no real, actual "moderate Muslims." They are cowards. If they speak out against the Allah-induced devilment, they face their own heads lopped off by none other than Muslims. Therefore, they cower before the demonic Allah-worshipers.

Increase in gang activity

Police have identified MS-13 and La Tercera Crips, both of which have been the targets of large-scale investigations, as major contributors to the rise in gang violence. But other organizations, such as Southwest Cholos and La Primera, also have played a role, police said.
Hurtt and Brown responded in December by creating the homicide gang squad, a group of officers within HPD's homicide division who focus on tracking and linking gang violence.

Will Muslim Nations Control the World Oil Market?
In his State of the Union address, President Bush outlined the "Advanced Energy Initiative to help break America's dependence on foreign sources of energy". The President has set a national goal of replacing more than 75% of U.S. oil imports from the Middle East by 2025. With America on the verge of breakthroughs in advanced energy technologies, the best way to break the addiction to foreign oil is through new technology. That same speech was apparently ill-received in Saudi Arabia, where it was interpreted as a kind of "threat" towards the Arab oil exporters. We will try here to understand why.
Oil is indeed the core of the Saudi-US relationship, even if both parties pretend that the matter is more complicated; and to be sure, it is so

By Jane Perlez The New York Times
MONDAY, APRIL 3, 2006
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "SYDNEY Beijing signed on Monday an agreement with Australia, one of the United States' closest allies, to buy uranium for use in China's nuclear power plants, in its continuing drive to meet its soaring energy needs.
The deal opens the door for Chinese investment in Australian uranium mines."

NUEVO LAREDO, Mexico - Gunmen killed four men in separate attacks over the weekend in this violent border city, bringing to 71 the number of murders here so far this year, authorities said Sunday.
Four slain in Mexican border city over weekend
WASHINGTON Connecticut lawmakers side with President Bush in the emotionally charged debate over immigration reform and border security.
The argument raging in the Senate has divided the Republican Party over how to treat the estimated 12 million immigrants already in the United States either by illegally entering the country or overstaying visas and other permits.
Bush wants to tighten the U.S. and Mexican border, but he would create a temporary worker program for those illegal and undocumented immigrants already in the country.

Guest-worker proposal ignores the most important issue
The fence marking the U.S.-Mexican border was in a sad state of repair, so a competitive contract bid was announced. After the contract was awarded, a representative of the company tasked with replacing the fence was quoted as saying that the new fence would be so secure that anyone attempting to scale the planned barrier risked "having his arm cut off."
The next day, the public outcry over the "inhumane" character of the fence (which was intended to protect a national border) became so intense that the contract was canceled, and a study was commissioned to determine a more suitable solution. Close the border door
Heads Up Dobbs
CNN anchor Lou Dobbs discusses immigration, objectivity and the priorities of cable news.
April 2, 2006 - Immigration is a signature topic for CNN anchor Lou Dobbs. Night after night, he takes to the airwaves and preaches against the Bush administration, taking sharp issue with its border-security policy and its guest-worker plan for illegal aliens. So when President George W. Bush headed to Cancun this week for a summit with Canada and Mexico, Dobbs, who favors tough enforcement of immigration laws, made sure to get himself on a plane. As the president smiled with his fellow leaders, Dobbs looked into the CNN camera and spoke of administration evils.

Borders Wide Open How Easy Would It Be For Terrorists To Enter U.S.?
A necessary read
In truth, there are many things that work in the complicated reality of the U.S.-Mexico relationship, despite all the anti-Mexico, anti-U.S. and anti-immigrant rhetoric surrounding the election campaigns this year in both countries.
A recent survey by Zogby International and Mexico's Center of Investigation for Development illustrated the disparity in perspectives, suggesting that Americans on average have a far better opinion of Mexicans than vice versa.
Only 26 percent of Mexicans thought Americans were hardworking. Only 16 percent thought Americans were honest. And a full 73 percent thought Americans were racist.
By contrast, 78 percent of Americans thought Mexicans were hardworking and 42 percent thought they were honest.

On the heels of the 500,000-person Los Angeles street demonstration, the illegal-alien lobby is promoting a major one-day boycott of American life to demonstrate its clout.
It is set for May May Day as it is known throughout the socialist and communist world.
It's called "A Day Without Latinos."
Organizers, like the Mexican American Political Association, are calling on their people to stay home from school, work and shopping and to protest out in the streets instead.
Too PRICELESS NOT to Read!
Last night, my wife and I had one of the worst experiences of our lives. In the middle of the night, five men broke into our home and made themselves at home. When I woke up this morning they had formed protest in my front yard, demanding to stay, suggesting I offer them a "Home Guest Worker" program.

Immigration complexities and hypocrisies
Consider the oxymoron. Hundreds of thousands of law-breaking aliens march in America's streets demanding that their right to live and work in the U.S. illegally be respected.
Fearful of backlash at the polls from millions of aliens who, in theory, have no right to vote, the U.S. Congress is preparing to reward those who have broken our laws with the most precious treasure on Earth -- the opportunity to become United States citizens.
The politically correct call these people immigrants, but what kind of immigrant enters illegally, works illegally, identifies himself illegally and sends every extra dime he makes back to his former home?
