Not surprising an Arab nation would threaten us. But don't worry - Bush has promised to veto any bill to stop the sale. I just have to wonder why he is so determined to see this through.
I was almost convinced that it if it wasn't a good thing to sell the ports, it at least wouldn't be bad.
But I don't take threats very well. Screw the UAE.

...to sell the ports...You still don't understand the deal. Nobody's buying or selling any ports.

I was almost convinced that it if it wasn't a good thing to sell the ports, it at least wouldn't be bad. How many times does it have to be stated:
THE PORTS ARE NOT BEING SOLD TO THE UAE!!!!
Was that loud enough for you to hear?

You obviously don't know what "threat" means. UAE remainded the brainless that actions have consequences. Piss on their head and pay a price. Presumably one could piss on yours without consequence since you wouldn't want to "threaten" anyone.
Keep following Chuck the Schmuck's lead HE really has the best interests of the Nation at heart.

If you think they are selling ports, you aren't informed enough to form an opinion.
These "threats" are how rational businesses and gevernments exert influence. France, Canada, and Japan use similar "threats" against us, just as we do against them. People need to get informed about this and stop the hyperbole.
