There was a story about this on this evening's CBS Evening News, as well as yesterday's. If you think our border security is a joke, CBS News reported yesterday that they crossed the borders into and out of Paraguay a number of times without being asked anything, let alone for a passport. The residents of Ciudad del Este, Paraguay make their money by selling counterfit goods and drugs. And the authorities usually look the other way - it's one of the richest areas of Paraguay. Bribery runs rampant.

This is nothing new. It seems this story is dredged up every once in a while just to keep it alive. It's essentially unchanged from 10 years ago. A few snipers lurking in the dark to take out Islams up and comming terrorists would save us a lot of money down the road.
