They could be darwin winners if even one person was home when they broke in. Florida has some of the loosest laws when it comes to shooting someone in your home.Although im thinking some of these teens probably got the idea from watching the drug cops day after day that break into private homes for the exact same reasons these kids did.

Ya know - I do think those shows (especially the one called "Texas S.W.A.T.") have the potential to create some unintended consequences. There's something about "over the top force" that I find - well - creepy. What ever happened to reasonable force? Anyway I think you have a point.

These youngsters seem to be the type that might be a problem to society for a while. I hope not though. Maybe they will be good soldier candidates and get a chance to work off some of that aggressive behavior.

I know a number of LEO's. They love the rush, as much as any other junkie. My eldest son did SWAT for a while, and told some inelegant stories about his buddies. Now he is a SGT for a town force. Of course, they get a badge and a "get out of jail free" card (or license plates)...
