The Clintons have a long history of selling out national interests to well-heeled foreign governments. One of my favorite stories is how Hillary Clinton denied even knowing somebody by the name of Moctar Riady, yet later, photographs showed up with her speaking directly to him (see below). Photos also showed up with her husband Bill, Riady and John Huang a Chinese spy put into CIA briefings by the Clintons.
Tsk-tsk Hillaroo.

Clinton was so eager to push the deal through that he met twice with Long Beach officials and once at a White House meeting in 1995 that included his then-chief of staff and the Pentagon's No. 2 official and others. FYI ping

I've been pointing it out for days. Yup. I know it's not a new find, but this old article adds to body of evidence pointing at the Clintons. There is some other good information in there about COSCO.
FR is a great repository of information for this kind of thing. Hopefully somebody out there will make good use of it.

IMO (unrelated to topic), what is the message we are sending about our military and the need for a strong defense organization when BRAC is out there closing bases left and right? It goes beyond just letting enemies and potential enemies operate our ports, I think it sends the message that the DOD is not an important arm of the federal government. For MY money, the DOD carries far more weight than HUD, Dept. of Education, Ag. Dept and/or some of the others.

Rescind the agreement! If we can't even run our own port terminals we're in trouble.
We should thank our "leaders" for enabling us to finally see exactly what is going on at our ports. We have been kept so busy watching the other acts that we forgot to consider that a smokescreen was put up around insidious schemes.
Send the Chinese and the muslims home; otherwise, we are like guests at a resort with our enemies mixing our cocktails and carrying in fresh towels while they are preparing to cut our throats.
Thanks Washington!

Yet Clinton could get away with anything because "the economy was good!" Because everyone knows when the economy is good, the president's popularity ratings are always high.
Oh wait....

Just do an FR Search on COSCO. It's all there. Along with a vastly different Freeper reaction than the one fo the Dubai deal.

We have been kept so busy watching the other acts that we forgot to consider that a smokescreen was put up around insidious schemes. I've been saying that Monica was spoon fed to us by the MSM for over two years while scumbag was dealing with the Chinese for money...whether campaign contributions, presidential library, land deals,or missile guidence systems...scumbag always got his....just as we see in Today's headlines

The difference was the vehement protest of the COSCO deal, as compared to the lockstep support of the Dubai deal.

And half of Utah is a federal park, but no people allowed.
The land was undermined with lifetimes of low-sulfur coal, but a deal was struck with the Chinese Communists to buy their low sulfur coal and bury the Utah land forever to mining.
