I see your point byby, I don't think that the US should put Israel's concerns above its own.
I think that where the issue is, is that in order to justify the deal, the UAE is praised as our 'partner in anti-terrorism' etc. Now if you just pull things apart a bit, all the 'terrorist' arab countries' ultimate goal is to destro Israel, and the Infidels. How can a country be on both sides of the fence? And I would even go farther and say that the US has made a huge mistake in buying oil from regimes that invest in our destruction. This is total insanity.
Remember the USSR line that 'we will sell them the rope that they will hang us with', well if the Saudi funding of the fanatical Islam doesn't fit the bill, then nothing does.
So, I agree with you, I just believe that the US and Israeli ultimate good is the same.
