I am opposed to abortion in all cases where the mother's life is not in danger or there is compelling evidence the child is so deformed it will not survive. That said your absolutist position is foolish. I would be very happy with a law that limits abortions to cases of rape and incest or life threats to the mother. It would eliminate 97% of abortions at a stroke. As Ronald Reagan said, its better to get half what you want now and work for the rest later, then nothing at all.
