Our entire being was created in the image of God. Body soul and spirit.

All I know is that after he had created the animals, God said, let us create man in our own image. So when man was created, he was created in the image and likeness of God.

No, I don't. And I cannot accept such arguments as some kind of scientific evidence. Such things MUST be taken on faith. That's kind of the point, isn't it?

Science has very little to say on the divinity of Jesus or the journey of Moses, or the fall of Adam. Such things may carry much truth in them without necessarily being empirical facts. After all, what unit would you use to measure the human soul?

By the same token, religion has very little to say on the precise nature of the universe. The Bible is not a text book or a historical reference. To use it as such would diminish its true value and miss the point.
