I can say, without a doubt, that every Indian-American (or generally first generation born in my experience) I have ever known are among the most intelligent, amibitious, and positive contributors to society I have seen in my life.
No lie. Anyone who comes here, plays by the rules, and goes straight to the top is ok in my book.
Indians in the US have higher medians incomes than Jews in the US. In fact, they have higher incomes than any other ethnic group in the US. At least that was in the case per the data around 2000. Greeks were second, Jews were third.
I have that belief as well. And the Indian family we know are Muslims to boot.
I'd also like to add that the Eritrean people we know are very nice, moral, and hard workers.
Amen!!
One of my closest childhood friends was from India. For a year or two, I think I spent more time with his family than I did with my own. They were absolutely the most wonderful, morally upstanding, hard-working people one could ever have the good fortune of meeting.
As a IT professional, I work with a lot of recent Indian immigrants. I couldnt agree more with you statement about Indians. Without exception, Ive found them to be hard working, professional, polite and smart.
The Indian family that moved in next door to the house where I grew up is a perfect example. The father owns a Kwik-E-Mart. His two daughters have gone on to do well in college. Last I heard, his oldest daughter was in graduate school for biology or something like that.
