LOL! They will operate commercial concerns within a port, just like Saudi Arabia currently does right now.

They will have no control over security...and yes, when you make silly comparisons to airport security, you are being very dense.

I haven't seen anyone bring this up yet and haven't got time to read all the replies but is the 2% US inspection rate accurate for incoming shipments? If so, can a 2% US inspection rate even be called "security"??

Especially when you have an Arab company handling port operations?

Does anyone suppose a terrorist might choose to ship through a port where the operations are run by an Arab company?

Does anyone suppose one of those big boxes filled with nasties could possibibly slip though a 2% inspection? Iguess there would be only a 98% percent chance it would, not very good odds at stopping it I would think.
