It seems those who represent us (right), on the Hill don't know much of anything. This deal has been worked on for two years, the administration wanted some more show and prove from UAE before it was let in. If the dolts spend more time on the floor and read things themselves instead of leaving it for the staffers, they would know that DPI and DPA are two different entities and Dubai Ports is made up of many foreign investors from all over the world... there are only two arabs on the board.
Oh they know alright, they are just grandstanding because the public did not understand the deal and they are pandering to that ignorance. They take us for chumps.
