Well I'm trying to get at a real answer, not just a vague "remove the government" idea. Should the US go in and replace their government? Or just not deal with them, even though they've dealt squarely with us for years, and even built some of our ships? Seems to me they were once stronger allies of Al Qaeda than they are now. There's no perfect solution, but I'll take something workable and imperfect over pie-in-the-sky armchair military fantasies any day. Wouldn't you?

Workable and Imperfect is fine so long as you keep them at arms length and you are honest about the risk involved in working with them. Pretending that they are our best buddies and giving them the keys to the back door is just plain dishonest and stupid.
