Have any of these "conservation biologist" checked to see if humans are evolving at a commiserate rate?? Probably not. I agree. Why is always about animals evolving? I thought humans were the top of the evolutionary chain and therefore that is where evolution should be taking place.

Any species which can change its environment to suit its needs does not have to change itself.

That's because you don't understand evolution.
Every critter alive today is at the "top" of its evolutionary chain.

Why is always about animals evolving? It isn't, there are plenty of journal articles about human evolution.
I thought humans were the top of the evolutionary chain and therefore that is where evolution should be taking place.
There's no such thing as "the top of the evolutionary chain" (this is based on an extremely distorted misconception of evolutionary biology), and thus such a non-existent place is hardly "where evolution should be taking place". As others have pointed out, for a variety of reasons human evolution would actually be slower than that of many other animals.

Humans are devolving, a consequence of the welfare state.

For one, I need no scientific proof that my daughter and my niece read faster, better, and are more skilled in mathematics at earlier ages than myself and my brothers, and I certainly can see that each generation of athelete is bigger, better, faster, etc..... at what rate, I have no clue, but it is a FACT.

Global Warming Fuels Speedy Evolution
Maybe that explains the little skin tags I get from time to time. Could they be some sort of new appendage that we have yet to need, just waiting to bust out. Hey maybe it is another arm. There is that spot in the middle of my back I can't reach!
Note to self: stop letting the doctor but them off - I may be messing up evolution for my ancestors. No, come to think of it isn't global warming suppose to cause another big freeze? (Depending on which "expert" you listen to) Maybe I need to let the doctor freeze them. That way they will "evolve" in a way that the new appendage won't feel cold in the new ice age!
