Did anyone remember the sales that popped up on eBay a couple years ago? It is definitely time to wrap up the problem.

No real Marine would stoop to this. Stand 'em all before a firing squad!

I was just checking out Ebay (for suit of armor, thought it'd be interesting to see what medieval knight things were there) and there is listed much of this stuff, I guess the key word here is 'stolen'? Not sure, but there is an abundance on ebay, under militaria.
Speaking of illegal stuff on ebay; one time I wanted to see if there were any books about white slaves in the civil war....and instead met up with San Francisco, now. I take it that auction got cancelled.
Knowing what I know now, I would've reported it.

Several Marines from Camp Pendleton have been arrested in San Diego on charges of providing stolen body armor -- intended for troops in Iraq -- that was later sold on the Internet.
Try `em for treason. Anything else is a slap on the wrist to them and a black eye for the Marine Corps. They need to be have examples made out of them.
