No, it is SAD that I am the first to post a message in this thread that is not full of "kill" and hate. What do you think that Terri Winchell would feel if she were READING what you guys are saying?

Would she be proud of you, or just as disgusted as I am?

Morales may evade pain for a while in this life, but mark my words, there is pain waiting for him in the next one.

Are you God? Does God differentiate between one heart of vengeance and another? Do you think that you are saved from hell, simply because you don't have a knife or hammer in hand?

This whole story is about revenge. It was revenge that killed Terri Winchell. Revenge is the monster! Revenge drives this blood thirst in society. When we are born innocent, we have no desire to wish death upon another human being. Where does that desire come from, I might ask?

Every day I am reminded why I oppose capital punishment. It is not to save people like Michael Morales. It is to save the rest of society, people like all of you!

Do me a favor. Do not try to "save" me. I have no desire to participate in your redemption.

[Begin whining liberal blah-blah]:

Are you God? Does God differentiate between one heart of vengeance and another? Do you think that you are saved from hell, simply because you don't have a knife or hammer in hand?

I certainly am saved from Hell, because I have placed my faith in the one and only Holy Son of God, who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and I have absolutely no worries about my eternal destination. Am I still a sinner? Oh definitely, and I will be until the day I die. But my sins are covered by the Blood of Christ.

How about you Marky Mark? Got Jesus?

This whole story is about revenge. It was revenge that killed Terri Winchell. Revenge is the monster! Revenge drives this blood thirst in society. When we are born innocent, we have no desire to wish death upon another human being. Where does that desire come from, I might ask?

It comes from the human genetic flaw of SIN. It is Biblical. Check it out. You know where to start.

Every day I am reminded why I oppose capital punishment. It is not to save people like Michael Morales. It is to save the rest of society, people like all of you!

Ahem. "The rest of society" and "the people like all of us" did not brutally rape and murder an innocent girl like Terri Winchell.

Now take a deep breath and wise up pal, and check this out:

Morales is a monster. Whether his motive for killing Terri Winchell was revenge or not is irrelevant. He murdered an innocent person in a brutal and savage manner, and by every legal and moral standard, he should pay with his life. He's had 20 years more of life than his victim did, and if it were up to whining, bleeding, wailing mopes like you, he would not only live until he died of natural causes, he would be painted as some kind of "victim".

There is no question of his guilt. The only "questions" that have been raised post-conviction are his pathetic claims that "wah, wah, wah, I might suffer PAIN if I am executed!" while he had no such concerns about how much pain he was inflicting on Terri Winchell and her family.

Now get a clue Marky: I never claimed to be God, but I know one thing: God IS a God of Justice, and God demands that we be accountable for our actions. Morales has had plenty of time to repent of his sins, and even if he has undergone a Christian conversion (something I personally doubt), that does not mean that he gets a pass on kidnapping, rape and a brutal murder. He still has to pay for those crimes, and as I said, he will either endure pain here in this life when he gets to have a final encounter with Mr. Needle, or if the weak sob sisters like you manage to get their way, he'll die a peaceful, natural death, and THEN he will endure pain when he must face God and account for himself. What kind of pain will it be? I have no idea. But if he goes before God without having obtained forgiveness via the Blood of Jesus Christ, he is representing himself in God's Eternal Court, and he will not escape his fate.

Now get a grip, and get over yourself. It's not about you and you don't need to "save" society from anything. Jesus Christ has already done that work, and it is free for the asking for anyone who believes John 3:16.

Think about it.

Thanks for your remarks. Right up front, I would question if your way will protect much less save anyone.

If a civilization will not remove those who imperil and kill its own with impunity, is that civilization worthy of continued existence as it claims to places more importance on the living , be they criminal or otherwise and discount the victim and their families sufferings.

Thanks for pulling revenge into it. If you're an Old Testament follower and not a New Testament one, than this latest convicted murderer should have been gone years ago, if you are the latter , he will likely end up rotting in a cell for years instead.

In either case, Terri has been dead for almost 25 years and we are just now at the point where his existence is even imperiled in the least. Should we not even attempt to seek justice in any form other than imprisonment.

What should the family members of the victim make of your comments? How should they now live knowing that some folks would rather we just do nothing except lock them up and throw the key away and call it justice.

It is a b*tch being mortal, huh? , .. but it is even worse being a corpse before your time, imo. I would question that it was really Terri's time to die. What God mush less what civilization would allow that and why?

You answer my questions and maybe I'll consider why I and others should even begin to answer yours.

Again Thanks, you not alone in what you shared, btw.
