Today President Bush traveled to Golden, Colorado to participate in the Energy Conservation & Efficiency Panel at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and discuss his national energy strategy, as well as tour the lab with Dan Arvizu, the director of the laboratory. Before leaving Colorado, the President visited the troops and their families at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora.
When he arrived home at the White House, he made a statement to the press regarding the controversial port buyout by the United Arab Emirates from Great Britain.
Enjoy your much needed trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!!

That is a neat picture. I've found some good pictures on those big agency sites.
I found a really good one I didn't save...it was on election night 2000 and George was snoozing on the couch with his arm around Laura. Very cute.

Well there's Brooks Krafts and Corbis (all one agency). If you look at some of the photos of him on some of the books out about him, a lot of times they will be from some big agency and they will give the name of it on the book jacket or somewhere.
Then you just google 'em! I've found some gold mines that way. :)

This was discussed at some length on the Sunday Talk Show thread and whilst a few people voiced some concerns others pointed out how basic security is not affected at all.
I also used the example of how cargo is checked by various customs/government authorities here in the UK before they are shipped, so checks are done prior to shipping after they have shipped is too late.
BOR has just explained it very well on the Factor how it would be disaster to overturn this deal (if in fact they actually can in reality) as the Emirates is America's biggest supporter in the Middle East.
