It sounds like David Gregory is speaking on behalf of his Clinton knee pad wearing wife!

The white house press corps are a bunch of spoiled bratty moroms.
It is embarassing to watch how they demean our president. Like our V.P., Mr. Bush should ignore them all.
Hellen Thomaas is how I think of them all.
Not worth the air they breath.

"Does the vice president have a responsibility to the American people to inform them of his .....private activities? No.

Sounds like Mr. Gregory might have a problem with his wife as well. I hope she gets the kids and the house. Look, if you married David Gregory, it would appear that you were willing [or prepared] to be his mother.
To: wagglebee
Yea, but did Gregory speak French when he said it?

"No matter how you feel about the White House press corps...this is about how the vice president chooses to communicate to the American people. We are a proxy for the American people. ... Its a question of, 'Does the vice president have a responsibility to the American people to inform them of his public and private activities?'" What a maroon. First, yes, the White House press corps can function as a proxy for the public; however, so can the Corpus Christi Caller Times, as well as any other medium outlet. And, Cheney did inform the public of this incident in less than 24 hours. Even though he was under great stress--most of it self imposed--he disclosed the event in a very responsible manner. And as a side benefit, he gave the MSM and the 'Rats plenty of rope to hang themselves once again. Damn, I wish he'd run in '08.

We are a proxy for the American people. Whether you have faith in us or not, and we do make mistakes, we are still a proxy.Well, I don't and you're not.
Not for me.
And not for a lot of others judging from your ratings and circulation figures.

And of course that 17 hours was spent taking care of HIMSELF (getting himself a prop for the sympathy scenario) - whereas Cheney was seeing that his friend was getting taken care of.

Gregory's outburst was typical of someone abusing some really hard illegal drugs.
The Secret Service should do mandatory urine tests on everyone in the White House Press Corp before they are brought into the White House or even its grounds.
