Evan Bayh was actually reasonable on discussing the Cheney hunting accident -- he said that is exactly what it was "an accident". He silently criticized Pelosi for her over the top remarks, and said lets move on. He also supports the NSA eavesdropping program, sort of. Yup, he is running for President and trying to show he has the strength to be a good leader on terrorism. Chris is doing a good job questioning him and pointing to all the stupid remarks made by democratic leadership. Wallace is really growing on me as a good interviewer. I'm looking forward to the round table today; hoping for a good slap-down of Juan! :-)
Unbelievable. Russert highlights the Prez saying "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job." Chertoff says, look, it was just an effort to buck up the troops, which any sensible person knows. Russert says wasn't it an attempt to spin this to the American people? LOLOL. He's not just evil, he's dumb.
Well, I know he says he supports the Patriot Act, the WOT, NSA eavesdropping and so on, but for some reason, I cannot trust the man.
Thank you! It's an hour and a half before FNS comes on here and I'll look forward to seeing Wallace and Bayh.
Chris Wallace appears on the Howie Carr radio show every Fri. afternoon. He gives a rundown on Sunday's show. He's extremely funny and very engaging. You wouldn't know that he was Mike Wallace's son from some of the comments he makes. He's certainly not a dyed in the wool liberal. I look forward to his appearance because he and Howie appear to be friends and have a wonderful rapport. Howie is always giving him suggestions on questions he should ask his guests.
