the clintons have killed the party. I think the smart money knows this and that's why we're getting things like the Gallup poll and the (vampiric) Reuters photo.

There are multiple coups in the works. Many Ds resent hillary's self-anointment.

Who is supporting hillary, anyway. I say she has a constituency of zero. (I suspect not even hillary is for hillary.)

I'm willing to let Hillery be the Harold Stassen of the 21st Century.

"the clintons have killed the party"

- It's difficult to set an exact time when a candidacy goes south, but for me the defining moment occurred at the King funeral when she agreed to go on the podium with Slick and was forced to watch him like some sort of adoring sock puppet while he went on and on and on. I don't think she expected that and the smile on her lips didn't match the hate in her eyes. The thought crossed my mind that Slick set her up deliberately and, while he may give lip service to her candidacy, he would just as soon see her fail.
It also might explain the otherwise inexplicable bouquets that the Bush family have been throwing Slick's way this past year or so. Maybe they know of the strained relationship and are trying to exploit it - a real Karl Rovian plan if there ever was one.
