The lesson of the Muhammad cartoon controversy is: Multiculturalism between nations is inevitable, but multiculturalism within nations is disastrous.
Protests, many of them violent, have erupted across the world - including Europe, Australia and New Zealand - after the appearance of cartoons depicting the Muslim prophet Muhammad in unflattering ways.
It's time for all of us to recognize that different cultures have different values. For the West, broadly speaking, the highest value is freedom, including freedom of religious expression. But for the Muslim world, the highest value seems to be Islamic piety. To draw such a distinction..........

Still exists, as far as I know..
As for minority rights being protected, that's fine, as long as those rights are the same as those defined as protected for the majority as well..
The idea behind that is equality.. equal protection under the law..
The "problem" is, courts and various legislatures have undertaken a process of redefining and even inventing new "rights", such as not being offended or the supposed right to prohibit others from freely practicing their religion, or creating civil rights penalties like hate crime.. where the courts decide what someone is thinking..
Their rights end where my nose begins..
From the groups listed everyone except people who listen to rap music. Anyone with that much bad taste can only screw up the country
" Cultures that can live along-side one another peacefully and can intermingle peacefully enrich their nation... not destroy it."
Then you would agree Is-Slime has no place in the USA? All cultures are NOT equal. 3rd world mudslimes do not add to the strength of the USA. With a few notable exceptions, the old European cultures helped move this country forward more than any other. Other cultures are holding us back.
Cultures that do not want to learn English or that believe anyone not from their death cult should be converted or killed come to mind as not advancing the USA.
We wouldn't have cowboys in TX without the influence of the Mexicans. We wouldn't have Mexicans if the Spanish and Aztecs had kept to themselves.
The Spaniards did not accept multi-culturalism. They did not let the Aztecs and related peoples practice human sacrifice etc. They conquered these people, destroyed their cultures and religions in a brutal manner and imposed Catholicism.
Don't get me wrong. I've come across native mexacan immigrants speaking indiginous languages. I'm not sure that I would trust them with an obsidian blade.
Tell it to those who are naive enough to believe there will ever be peace between Palestinians and Jews in Israel.
... and I do celebrate Yom Kippur, shalom
So are you willing to give up your Jewish traditions, meals, and holidays in order to avoid conflict in the US?
C'mon. Be like us. We're all listening to ministers/priests and not rabbis! Eat bacon! Start spelling "G-d" with all three letters! NOW! Throw out that dreidel and buy a stocking!
You don't want to be DIFFERENT, do you? Being different is BAD. It DESTROYS a nation!
People who set fires or fly planes into buildings to acheive their goals are detrimental to society. People who commit such crimes should be punished... and those who preach that others should commit such crimes should also be punished. But I'm not about to ban or imprison an entire religious sect in order to acheive a "more perfect"/"more homogenous" society. If I remember correctly, someone tried that once. Didn't work out so well.
(PS - I have no idea how many of the Jewish traditions you follow... Just trying to make a point.)
Multiculturalism is evil.
