You can say that again, Ollie.
Excellent!
"Attorney General Gonzales put it succinctly in his testimony before the Judiciary Committee this week: "Our enemy is listening. And I cannot help but wonder if they aren't shaking their heads in amazement at the thought that anyone would imperil such a sensitive program by leaking its existence in the first place -- and smiling at the prospect that we might now disclose even more or perhaps even unilaterally disarm ourselves of a key tool in the war on terror." Failing to heed this advice is nothing short of a death wish. "

Exactly! I hope the American people in general are smart enough to see that,

I missed it.... I do think Ollie actually makes Colmes shake in his boots because Ollie don't give no quarter to the idiot and Colmes just can't handle it.
Ollie rips that flake every time.
Would have loved to have seen this. I may have to stay up to see the 2:00 AM rebroadcast.
Yeah Ollie knows how to deal with terrorists who threaten Americans! He'd sell em some weapons systems and say pretty please Iran, tell Hezbollah not to take any more hostages. Anytime that guy comes on the screen I change the channel.
Thanks, smoothsailing!

Please FReepmail me if you would like to be added to, or removed from, the Oliver North ping list...
I don't like it when the executive branch has to fight the legislative, but dammit, sometimes they just overstep their own powers, and there isn't always time to take the matter to the courts. I'm just thinking about the absurdity of President Bush asking Congress loudly and clearly, "Please give me the power to place wiretaps on people in the USA who talk regularly with known Islamic terrorists."
It's worth the price of cable tv just to watch it. Now I have to stay up past midnight to watch the re-run.
Unbelievable.
The Col. is such a gentleman! But even he is beyond patience with the liberals endangering this nation merely for their political empowerment. Never doubt that the liberal leadership of the democrap party will sacrifice untold millions of Americans in order to get back into power ... they are the champions of abortion slaughter for their empowerment, so what's a few million more human beings to regain power? The democrats are too damned dangerous to be allowed ever back into the seats of power!
Stunning first-person testimony on behalf of electronic surveillance.
Yet thats what he did, arms for hostages with Iran and Hezbollah. It didnt work either, some were released but more were taken by Hezbollah and the plan was scrapped. Genius logic by Ollie, give terrorists a prize for kidnapping Americans and maybe they'll stop. I'm proud that Bush flat out refuses to deal with Hamas and their ilk, but I'm ashamed that North didnt have the same character. When I saw yet another video of Jill Carroll weeping for her life on TV today I thought about this, people who cut deals with kidnappers only make us less safe.
Sorry if you like North as a TV/Radio personality but I cant overlook a man who dealt with terrorists like that, now way, no how.
