I wonder if Kennedy is trying to cover so that they do not look to deeply into who leaked the information to the media.
The word from NRO is that Jay Rockerfeller leaked the NSA program to the NYTimes; as the ranking minority member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, he was one of the 8 in Congress briefed by the executive branch.
I think NRO was repreating hearsay from...the American Spectator? I forget from where at the moment.
