how bout them Cowboys? Considering their achievements over the years, they are probably one of the most underrepresented teams in the HOF. I think before this latest class they only had 6-7 players in there.
Considering their achievements over the years, they are probably one of the most underrepresented teams in the HOF. That's myopia for you. Considering their achievements over the years, six Super Bowls and two NFL Championships among them, the most underrepresented team in the HOF is the Denver Broncos. Before Elway was enshrined two years ago, the Broncos had exactly ZERO players in the Hall of Fame unless you count the last year of Tony Dorsett's career or the first year of Willie Brown's career. That's it. Total. Cowboys underrepresented, my ass. Other than the 1960s Packers and the 1970s Steelers, no team has been OVERrepresented more than the Dallas Cowboys.

Agreed. The Cowboys, IMHO, are a victim of biased attitudes, whether jealousy, envy, or inferiority complex - they're the team other teams (and most of the media) love to hate. The Cowboys only had 7 total in the Hall of Fame prior to this class - 5 players and 2 non-players (coach and general manager). Here they are:
