Drug traffickers...uhm hmm, yeah, that's the ticket...
Two completed bombs?
What were they up to? Who were they? Mexicans? AlQaeda? Would drug smugglers be using bombs? Guns, I can understand, but this seems unusual.
And a partridge in a pear tree.
Border Ping!
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off this South Texas/Mexico ping list.
Yes, this is the border our Presidente want to KEEP OPEN. Such a fine border, indeed. Pathway for criminal illegals, drug dealers, and God knows, what else? Only a full wall (not fence) will keep the border crime, which includes illegal crossings, down to a manageable level -- yet El Jefe Presidente continues to 'bad-mouth' anyone who stands against ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and closing our borders to illegal and clandestine traffic. Just like he did in the SOU address. He has even turned on his OWN PARTY members who resist it.
The only people happy about this are the Mexicans who have a free pass to break our laws, and GET REWARDED FOR IT. IMHO, that is why Tom Ridge quit.
"...material for 33 more,300 primers,...sniper scopes,etc..."
This is not for drug operations. This is for something else. Hmm
I don't want to began to think we have allowed them into this military tactical approach without a response?
okay mr. chertoff, could you explain please?
Brought across by Bush's guests.
I have finally concluded we will never be safe as long as Bush is in power.
Bump!
Unfrickinbelievable. That wall should've been built years ago. I fear it's too late.
Pinhole Camera!
VERMIN!!!! Get a rope!
In an article I read yesterday on this same subject they say that the weapons were seized on three different dates which leads me to conclude that they were seized from at least three separate caches.
The Border Patrol only catches about 1 out of 4 illegal immigrants. Lets hope that their record for seizing weapons is somewhat better or there are a lot of weapons and bomb caches that have not yet been seized and are still in the hands of the narco-terrorists.
If pinhole cameras were outlawed, only outlaws would have pinhole cameras.
Where were these seized? Do they belong to (paranoid) law-abiding U.S. citizens trying to protect themselves, or to law-breaking illegals?
Um, let me add to my previous question. Are any of these weapons illegal in Texas? I suppose the fully automatic weapons would be, but I'm not sure about the others....
while i'm looking at a border thread.. has anyone else seen the commercials that are being aired lately, advertising jobs available at border patrol?
"More than 150 people -- including the police chief, a city councilman and 13 police officers -- have been killed in the Mexican border town over the last year. "
That has to give this presumably small population one of the highest murder rates in the country. Anyone hear of it before?
If a Police Chief, a Councilperson, and 13 cops had been killed over a year's time here in Detroit, there would be Marches with Jesse Jackson.
