The president went to Nashville, Tennessee, today, to give a speech on his 2006 agenda.
He signed a proclamation in honor of American Heart Month.
There are pick up photos from last night of Associate Justice Alito's ceremonial swearing in, and from the president's State of the Union speech.

I am waiting for the Senate to get out of quorum call....and they are showing a presser with Osama OBama....talking about lobbying reform...
BOY those dems are determined to push his face in front of a camera every change they get, don't they..
There are Senators that have been in the Senate forever, that most people couldn't pick out of a lineup...but not OBAMA>...sheesh

Good evening!
Thanks for posting these great pictures for todays Dose.
I completely forgot the swearing in ceremony of Justice Alito in the White House, but I watched the video from the White House home page.
Linda Eddy has a great cartoon of Justice Alito

Lol yeah really. Everything I've ever heard about him is that he's got a loud, goofy sense of humor. You can tell in the pictures of him laughing.
This is not a quiet man.

I was looking for the video under "video" + "alito" etc. Didn't know they'd have the video link inside the text stuff. Duh.

She had taken Reid's spot; she's got some gall. I could be wrong, but I believe those seats are marked and she knew exactly what she was doing when she sat in the Minority Leaders Seat

Listening to it now - Bush had the same remark I did: "Last night he [Alito] looked pretty good, sitting there in that black robe."

Great news it was confirmed today by the Consultant that dad does not have Parkinson's the symptoms he has are related to a small vascular problem.
The doctor told him to continue to take the medication prescribed though he does not have Parkinson's he believes that it may help and certainly will not do any harm.
Apart from that he has told him to have regular physiotherapy and be care not to get up too quickly from a chair or bend down.
I think dad is more relaxed tonight than for quite a while the results have been hanging over him for several weeks now
