One of several reasons that I no longer live in Wisconsin.
Liberals.
Crooked Gov.
High taxes.
Damn cold.

Sounds to me like 3 people need to be voted out of office. The Gov and the two Dems that switched their vote.

"Opponents said that the bill will only encourage gun violence and will leave people unsure of whether others around them are carrying hidden weapons."
Obviously, they have not done their homework on the decrease in crime in states where they can carry....

Our only hope is to get Doyle out of office this November.

Still fighting the libs, corrupt gov, high taxes and cold...actually been a relatively mild winter. We're very hopeful the corrupt Gov will be gone in November (or indicted before then) which will help with the high taxes. If not, hubby and I may be joining you in the exodus from this state! lol

Keep heart Wisconsinites; now you know what to do:
A)Make sure Doyle doesn't reelected
B)Give John Steinbrink, and Terry Van Akkeren the Boot.

Durn. I thought you had this.

Wisconsin is one of four states that ban the carry of concealed weapons. Wisconsin, Illinois, Nebraska and Kansas.
I believe the issue in Wisconsin and Illinois is keeping the brothers down on the big city plantations. I thought we fought a Civil War over this kind of scheisse.
Apparently, the Democrats who fled the South to Milwaukee, Chicago and other points north didn't get the memo.

"Opponents said that the bill will only encourage gun violence and will leave people unsure of whether others around them are carrying hidden weapons." This needs to be "accurized":
"Opponents lied, as they did in dozens of other states, that the bill will only encourage gun violence and will leave people unsure of whether others around them are carrying hidden weapons."

D'oh!
Opponents said that the bill will only encourage gun violence and will leave people unsure of whether others around them are carrying hidden weapons. Yah think? Of course, people here could actually mean people and not perps and punks, who can now continue their life of violence and pretty well know that most people are unarmed.

Sounds to me like 3 people need to be voted out of office. The Gov and the two Dems that switched their vote. Better the Gov and ALL the Dems, Greens, and RINOs, some percentage of the independents and maybe a pretend Libertarian or two.
Then don't settle for shall issue, because to be required to apply for state permission and pay a tax is infringement < /still unsatisfied shall issue state resident beating dead horse >.

This is good news.
The concealed-carry bill was watered down big time. Lots of concessions to Doyle and gun control groups.
Scott Walker will be elected and a better concealed-carry bill will be passed.
