BREAKING: CORRETA SCOTT KING PASSES
Must be true, this is the third time of read this on FR.
I just saw it Good Morning America.
You're 3rd.
Thank you Correta for taking Woodruff off my TV....Now its your turn
My condolences to the family, but honestly I'm not a big fan of the King family. Their control over the legacy of Dr. King has been purely profit-motivated - try to utilize any of ML King's speeches sometime and see what it costs you.
I also felt ML King's family became entirely too cozy with Malcolm X and Elija Muhammed after the assasination, two organizations calling for violence against whites.
Thanks, glad you noticed.
1st thing I do every morning when I log on here is do a search for "King"..
My condolences as well. I am sorry she died, but I cannot understand (although I know why) the media is having a gorbasm.
Still hopin' for Elvis' return, huh?
The media lives for tragedy, death, heartache and misery. They go from tragedy to tragedy. God forbid they should report happy things. Coretta King was an icon, someone who was determined to carry on her husband's legacy. The saddest thing about it all is the fact that everything her husband gave his life for and she devoted her life to, is being undone by people proclaiming "to also be carrying on his legacy". The three stooges have gone a long way to completely undo what MLK started and have widened the chasm between whites and blacks rather than closing it. They preach that the misery they live in is all whitey's fault. Again, God forbid they should speak out like Bill Cosby has and tell the people that they are responsible for their own destiny and only they will lift themselves up. I do hope the two of them are finally re-united.
From the headline I thought it was a thrid and long story.
