Sorry I couldn't make it this past Saturday - I had out-of-town visitors. I will come this Saturday if I have enough time before I have to pick up my boyfriend from the airport - he's flying back from India that day (can't wait)!
It was great to meet everyone at Walter Reed this past Friday night. I had a blast! I am definitely going to be there again this Friday. Hopefully it won't be as cold, and I'll remember to wear mittens and warm boots if it is!

The highlight: When that young soldier stopped at the light(It's a long light).
He told JVb and me that he had just moved to town and the first thing he saw was an anti- U.S. protest. He thanked us for countering this protest and for showing our support for the Troops.
That's what it's all about after all.

Iraqikurd was getting ready to put on his white robe and Osama mask (Courtesy of Dr. Raoul) when the police stopped him. Apparently down County (Silver Spring area) there is a problem with Arian white racist gangs and they did not want the impression that it has moved into Olney. We're outfitting Iraqikurd with the other Osama fashion statement, the one where 's wearing a green camo BDU top.
The white robe was more like a Star Wars Jedi Knight robe than a sheet, AND it was actual Iraqi garb.
But hey we'll make the switch and everybody will be happy. We try to be low maintenance for local law enforcement.
