I don't know their procedure. You could contact your local representative for the details.

Yes, we are an immigrant country but they came here LEGALLY and respected our laws. You can't have people thumbing their noses at our laws and expect them to be law abiding productive citizens. It's hypocritical.

I don't care how we keep ILLEGALS OUT. put land mines in front of the walls. Dig down deep under the wall and do something there to discourage tunnels - whatever but keep the illegal ones out.

Immigration is a weakness for this admin to be sure. Saying so, however, has gotten me attacked a lot by the bots. I just don't understand why they don't do something about the problem. It's maddening IMO.

"If there is anything that could cause the downfall of President Bush, it would be the lack of security on the border."

And the real tragedy is that the dims would do an even worse job of defending us.

I've had a "feeling" - sorry - for some time that one of the reasons GWB doesn't seem to see the porous border as such a big deal is precisely because he knew of all of the behind the scenes programs like the NSA surveillance of terrorist communications and he knew how effective they were.

If we let the dims gut these programs, we will pay with our lives.

The Mexicans would be well advised to consider this quote from a man who kicked their sorry @$$e$ back across the Rio Grande.
"Some of you laugh to scorn the idea of bloodshed as the result of secession, but let me tell you what is coming....Your fathers and husbands, your sons and brothers, will be herded at the point of the bayonet....You may after the sacrifice of countless millions of treasure and hundreds of thousands of lives, as a bare possibility, win Southern independence...but I doubt it. I tell you that, while I believe with you in the doctrine of state rights, the North is determined to preserve this Union. They are not a fiery, impulsive people as you are, for they live in colder climates. But when they begin to move in a given direction...they move with the steady momentum and perseverance of a mighty avalanche; and what I fear is, they will overwhelm the South."
[Sam Houston, with a prophetic warning at the time of the secession of Texas from the Union]

Saying so, however, has gotten me attacked a lot by the bots.

The bots are gnarly, that's for sure. I made a comment on one of those "A Day In The Life Of President Bush" threads that after her uncouth joke routine, I didn't view Laura as the Nancy Reaganesque figure I once did.

Immediately one of the bots threatened to call a mod if I talked about something not in the title of the thread, and copied another bot, then the second bot posted an attack on me copying yet a third bot! By then three bots were in the ping list! Luckily I didn't respond and they went away. Whooo!

They're just selling the bombs that Americans refuse to sell. Call them 'temporary guest terrorists'.

No Bush isn't seeking "big money" from "businesses for cheap labor".

Then why is Bush refusing to enforce the border security, even though the situation is obvious to the dumbest moron?

You too huh? The day it was announced that there would be a social security field office in Mexico City I went into one of those "Day in photos" threads and made a comment involving an industrial sized drum of vaseline. Retribution was swift and severe.

This is why Bush looks like a phony when it comes to protecting the homeland. Bush wants the money from big business for cheap labor rather than protecting Americans from terrorists, drug dealers, rapists and murderers. This is issue number one for many people.

Nahhhh.... I'm glad that the number one thing that seems to be on the mind of the justice department these days, is going after porn and prostitution! The most important thing that the government can do these days is to protect us from the "international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids."

And you know, that's what porn and prostitution do!

Last year, Kansas City came close to setting an all time record for murders, but the feds had plenty of time, money, and other resources to work with local law enforcement agencies, and coordinate stings and busts all over the metro area... I guess it's a lot easier, safer, and makes for better TV when you can see scantily clad girls being handcuffed, than actually trying to solve murders.

And don't even get me started on the border, especially what with the acts of war committed by the Mexican military! Maybe the US is just trying to set a good example for Israel, by saying, "just forgive them when they come into your country and murder your people," or just launch rockets over the border.

LOL! Yep, that's how they are. Earlier in the thread one flat out told another Freeper that he couldn't post there. I don't want to say their screen names (for fear they will feel my typing and appear here), but they had W's and Bush's and stuff like that embedded in their screen names!! Like piercings, virtual mohawks, or something, I suppose I should have guessed.

Not sure I believe this "bulletin". Seems to that any Iraqi could get into Mexico very easily and conduct the trasaction there. They don't seem to have any security except on their southern border.

Mexicans trying to go to San Fran to sell anything except high test drugs doesn't make sense.

All the known Al Queda folks we have nabbed have been near Sacramento and Klamath Falls. No where near SF.

" If something like this happens again, I wouldn't want to look muslim in this country."

We WILL have another attack and this time I think the Feds will drop the hammer. They've got all the laws they need to do it. The only thing is that I doubt they will be dropping the hammer on the bad guys but on U.S. citizens. We will probably see martial law and a typical overeaction by law enforcement once they get the power to do basically anything they want.

Have you ever tried to cross the border into Mexico?

There is a simple solution to the "problem" you both seem to have.

Do not go on the "Day in the Life" threads. Much the same as changing the channel if you don't like the program content.

One thread, no two threads, on FR do not tolerate attacks on the President. Simply avoid them. They are a respite for many to escape the constant drum beat.

Yes, I chose it because "revolutionary" often means radical and unpredictable, as I would expect such an undesirable future scenario to be.
