They have no experience governing. They don't know what it takes and they'll undoubtedly fail, just like their terrorist predecessor, Yassir Arafat, failed. Convincing poor, downtrodden young men who have no future before them (mainly because of Hamas' actions) to convince themselves to blow up is nothing compared to actually having to govern.

I believe the author misses the point of Islam. It's not about worldly things it's about doing on this earth what God (Allah) wants done. And obtaining paradise. (killing Jews and other Infidels is on the agenda)- Tom

It may well be for the leaders, however, that won't cut it with the population. Remember, these are no longer "freedom fighters" they are now the legitimate government. Oh yeah, BTW, governments have certain responsibilities that "freedom fighters" don't. For instance, any attack on another nation is considered an Act of War and the nation attacked is permitted to respond.
