The United Nations pulled its remaining peacekeepers out of the national park where eight Guatemalan peacekeepers were killed...shades of Rwanda, where early on the UN removed its remaining "peacekeepers" after a dozen were captured and assassinated (and eventually several hundred thousand Rwandans died) - were the UN only corrupt, a case still might be made for its existence if it were at least effective in what it attempts to do - since its ineffectiveness is by now incontrovertible, it should be abolished........
