When I saw a report that NBC was selling ad time for pennies on the dollar, I remembered my Father's favorite saying, "Even a jackass knows when its oats are full of sandspurs."

Should also give credit to the writers and producers for creating this drek.

It was cancelled because very very few people with a Neilsen box on their television were watching it.
That is the only thing that ever gets a show cancelled.

Even an impassioned plea by Daniel's producer Jack Kenny could not match your participation. "Ordinarily, I would never ask anyone to do this, but the AFA and bullies like them are hard at work to try and prevent you from seeing these beautiful shows, and that is censorshippure and simple. And that is both un-Christian and un-American," Kenny wrote. His attitude is typical in todays society. Non-Christians telling Christians what is Christian. No, Jack, it's not censorship. That would be if the government prevented the program being shown. The government didn't do that, and neither did we. We just emailed every advertiser we could track down & told them we wouldn't buy from them. That's what you call a BOYCOTT, Jack. I'd tell you to invest some of your profits from the show in a dictionary, but there won't BE any profits from the show, neener neener neener.

Well, that's part of it. The other part of it is that the show was a lousy show, even without the religious outrages.

I watched it - it was a boring, bad show. It would have been better to let it die a natural death.... now its a little bit easier to present Christians as being intolerent.

The show was really bad. My teenage boys, who aren't that discriminating, tried to watch it, and were off doing something else after 8 minutes.

Interesting, when someone uses "boycott" on a poorly written anti-Christian show it is censorship. When GLAAD calls sponsor after sponsor to get Dr. Laura dropped, it is gleefully referred to as a "successful consumer action".

With all due respect, this show died because it was horrible. It was badly written, badly directly and pretty much overall just brutal to watch.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy it was cancelled...but I doubt a boycott had anything to do with it.
People won't watch bad shows for very long, regardless of its' content.
