We avoided the devastation in the cold war because we were a step ahead of the Soviets. I'm saying we don't let Iran get any closer than the Russians did.

Actually we avoided nuclear war with the Russians because at the core they are semi sane people. They knew if anyone popped a nuke, neither side would survive.

This guy thinks he is preparing the way of the muslim Messiah. He will not act in a rational manner because he is sure that the more chaos he spreads, the faster the Mahdi (or the antichrist) will come.

Times are a lot different. I would rather have the Soviets back.
