Ping to fellow Christians: While we're busy debating the finer points about our common faith in Christ, and how the Catholic faith differs from the Orthodox, the Protestant etc. let's not lose sight of the real enemy -- Isslam.

The West has battled the East for long enough and the Catholics versus the Protestants too. In the meantime, we have Orthodox women and children attacked in Russia (Beslan - N. Ossetia), in the Caucasus; we have Armenian Christians attacked in Turky; Assyrian and Chaldean Christians attacked in Iraq; Coptic Christians attacked in Egypt; Anglicans and others in Nigeria and West Africa; Protestant, evangelicals, Catholics attacked in Sudan and indonesia and southern Phillipines and Pakistan; we have this outrage in Presbyterian Scotland and the ganngrapes in Sweden and Australia.

I don't agree with Protestants or Orthodox on some points, but if they stand againstIslam, count on me standing by them.

Here in Iowa, the state is GIVING land for a muslim "day camp" in state park. Yet if you put a cross or ten commandments on public property you face a long and expensive trial.

The bureaucrats of the West have chosen sides it seems.

Muslims immigrated to Scotland, Ireland, the UK, and the rest of the EU in huge numbers, and anyone who thinks this is a coincidence should have his head examined. Once they got arrived, they were emboldened by PC treatment, incited by mullah rants at the local mosque, and began breeding like rabbits. (The demographics make your hair stand on end.) Well, at long last, the UK looked around and realized that soon the natives would be outnumbered and is offering bribes to immigrants who'll leave -- but why in the world would they want to go back where they came from?

This is inside a state-owned park? Is anyone protesting this action or questioning its legality?

It caused quite a stir in 2003, but was approved and construction began last year.

It is in Corralville, by the U of Iowa, in a very liberal county. Unfortunately it is only 50 miles from me. Wasn't' here for most of the debate, but the state basically said that it could do it, and hinted that to oppose it was racism.
