As the handwringing and fingerpointing over "corruption" resume, it seems good to recall that: "The difference between a government and a criminal band, then, is a matter of degree rather than kind, and the two often shade into each other.", Murray Rothbard, Man, Economy and State

"They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one." Psalm 14:3

Well... yeah. Until we amend the Constitution to expand the definition of Treason to include this, it will always be this way until even the last vestiges of our Republic are gone.

Better hurry as we are running out of First principles quickly.

"Ron Paul is one of the finest men ever to serve the House of Representatives."

And, he's pretty hot in a teddy...

It is libelous to compare politicians with fortune tellers and faith healers. Nobody forces a client to use fortune teller or a faith healer. The transaction between a client and a fortune teller may involve fraud, but it is very unlikely to involve coercion. Politicians are all frauds (some more than others) and the State uses coercion to accomplish all its ends (without exception).
