Greetings, FReepers, Troops,
and All the Ships at Sea!

Reporting LIVE! from the Fobbit Hole in the rich bottom lands of the Euphrates River Valley, it’s the continuing saga of Sarge's Most Excellent Adventure!

Well, Folks, the excitement is about to begin. In twelve hours, Sarge will start the long trek back Stateside on leave. Sarge's faithful laptop will be along for the trip, so any chance there comes of a report, there'll be one. But just as a fairness alert, most of it will be drive-by's for the next few days, and more than likely, a lot of quiet in between. But don't mistake that for anything but just quiet - Sarge is still thinking about all those wonderful wacky people here on Free Republic.

The rest of the day will be spent tossing random last-minute things into the duffle bag, before pulling out tonight. Sarge gets to take one duffle bag and one carry-on - and Sarge knows how to pack! Especially the beach stuff, and the little odds and ends Sarge is bringing home for The Boy. Oh, and of course, the camera is coming along, so all of you will get to see the antics of the Home Detachment on Operation Family Reunion II!

Sarge will be in and out all day, so Let's Have Fun!
