As I recall the B-58's life span wasn't very long because it could carry only nuke weapons and could not carry conventional bombs or wing-mounted weaponry.

As I recall the B-58's life span wasn't very long because it could carry only nuke weapons and could not carry conventional bombs or wing-mounted weaponry. It was fast, was available to do what it was built for with impressive reaction worldwide, and to top it off it wreaked ATTITUDE! : )
