C-Span left out the fact that Kennedy was demanding papers that didn't have anything to do with Alioto.

Not when I watched it.
I watch C-Span all day everyday.

Liberals say they are biased too.

I'm actually disappointed that the moonbats on the Judiciary Committee scratched that eco-freak who compared eating meat to the Holocaust from their witness list.

I am too. I'm bummed out. I was really hoping they would bring him forth and show liberalism in it's unmasked and unhinged style.

Assistant Professor is the entry level position leading to Associate and then Full Professor. In many colleges you need to have completed Post Doctoral work. Of course at some colleges they will take someone with a Master's. It depends on the competitiveness of the university.

Robin would say: "Ms. Frost was a symphony in minimalism, relying on the strength of her character to carry the day. Her ensemble was understated but elegant, and the small yet expensive necklace was a nice counterpoint to the severity of her jacket, underscoring her businesslike but feminine statement."

I think I should get Robin's job, don't you?

Don't worry.

They're holding him in reserve just in case John Paul Stevens kicks the bucket between now and the end of the Bush administration.

You need to save the best for last.

It might have made the highlight reel. C-SPAN plans to show highlights all weekend.

When first hired as a professor the title is assistant professor. It is a little misleading because it is not in any way an "assistant" type position. It is a full-time teaching position same as a full professor. They have to be promoted to "Associate Professor" and again to "Professor" which usually corresponds to higher pay. The time it takes to be promoted can vary, but typically:

Assistant Professor = Years 1-5
Associate Professor = Years 6-10
Professor = Years 11-30

I'm actually disappointed and embarrassed for them. I was looking forward to today... good debate. This is so pathetic that I can't understand why they even bothered.

Have any of the DemocRAT witnesses had any dealings with Judge Alito, or are they just media hearsay witnesses?
