It is really very simple. You want me to pretend feminists on FR are my allies because they are on FR. I want them to stop pretending I have to bow to feminist pieties, which I utterly refuse to do. No one who insists I have to bow to feminist pieties in "on my team". I don't, and they are attempting to impose a ruinous ideology on us. If they are actually conservatives and actually on my team, they (and you, for that matter) can bloody well show it, by dropping the "you must bow to feminist PC pieties" crap. I needn't, and I don't, and anybody who tells me I must is an enemy not an ally. Learn it love it live it, or live with it.

I would REALLY appreciate it if you would specify exactly what you mean by feminist pieties. For all I know, you view a woman who actually voices an opinion, even a conservative one, and seeks to engage people in a reasonable and adult debate about that viewpoint, as a "feminist piety." I grew up watching my Old World Italian grandfather treating his Old Word Italian wife as both a scullery maid and Queen. Sure, he did EVRYTHING for her and provided every wish she had and gave her comfort and security, but the moment she decided to break away frm the boiling pasta to jump into a kitchen table conversation among her husband and sons (they had no daughters), she was immediately and verbally slapped back, told to get back to doing what she was doing and "not worry about it." This makes a HUGE impression on a little seven year old girl. No feminist pieties...just observations, dear. I think many an AMERICAN woman can research the history of women in this country and find that conservative values hold up while they exert independence from Old World drudgery.

Youve been repeating yourself over and over, and Im not convinced you know what you are talking about. You need to provide examples and specifics.

What the heck are talking about? I have been opposed to and fought against modern day feminism all my life. So have many of the women on this forum. If you too oppose it, then you are on the same side we are.

No one suggested you be on the side of feminists on FR.

And what, pray tell, are "feminist pieties?"
